When will my order be shipped?
We aim to dispatch your order via our supplier(s) within 5 working days. However, in most cases, orders will be dispatched within 48hrs.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email notification, followed shortly by an email containing your tracking link.
If you have not received either email after 5 working days, please reach out to us at support@theopticalhut.co.uk
When will my order arrive?
We work to hard to make sure your order is fulfilled as promptly as possible.
Please note: Delivery times may vary for each individual order item. The reason for this is that your items may be fulfilled by different suppliers. In this event, you will receive separate delivery dispatch emails and tracking links for each package.
In the event your delivery is delayed, we will inform you via email. Any questions or issues get in touch at support@theopticalhut.co.uk
*We aim to honour the delivery times stated to you at the time of purchase, however during busy periods, delivery times may be impacted. On top of this, events outside of our control, such as extreme weather or road closures, may affect delivery services. We always strive to keep changes to delivery services to a minimum. The Optical Hut cannot be held liable for any parcels that are lost or stolen as a result of any specific delivery instructions left for the carrier.
Can I track my delivery?
Yes you can track your delivery.
When your order is dispatched you will be notified and a tracking link will be provided.
Both will arrive via email.
I'm missing an item, what should I do?
We're sorry to hear you're missing an item!
Before reaching out to us please consider the following:
- Check your inbox and spam for separate delivery dispatch emails and tracking links as it is possible your items are arriving in separate parcels. This happens when you've placed an order that is being fulfilled by different suppliers.
- Check your inbox and spam to see if we emailed you about stock outages. It is possible an item you ordered became out of stock between the time you placed your order with us and when we informed our supplier.
If you are missing an item. Please let us know as soon as possible.

I won't be in when my order arrives, what should I do?
Ideally someone should be home when your parcel is due to arrive. It is possible the carrier will need a signature for your delivery.
If this is not possible our delivery partner normally tries to re-deliver the parcel at least once.
Alternatively, look out for a card confirming:
- That they’ve left it with a neighbour
- That they've left it in a safe place
- That they will try to redeliver
- Details about where and how to collect it.
Why has my order been returned to The Optical Hut?
We’re really sorry your order didn't arrive!
If your order has been returned. It’s likely to be one of these reasons:
- The parcel was refused
- The delivery address was incomplete or incorrect.
- Our delivery partner could not access the address
- The order was not collected from the pick-up point within 10 days of delivery.
Note: It can take up to 10 days for the item to be returned to our supplier and processed.

I missed my delivery, what should I do?
Please contact the delivery service to arrange a second delivery. They should inform you of a failed delivery attempt.
Be aware, if your package isn’t received within a certain window, the delivery service will return it to our supplier.
In this event we will contact you to discuss your options.
My parcel arrived damaged, what should I do?
If you notice damage to the outside of your parcel at the point of delivery you are within our rights to refuse it.
If after accepting delivery you notice damage. Please take photos of the issue and get in touch as soon as possible.

I received the wrong product in my order. What should I do?
Please double check your order confirmation email and against the product that's arrived.
